The most potent, unifying human activity in the local church is the Sunday morning sermon. Because we live in America, this sermon is in English. Every Sunday morning the entire local body hears this English sermon and unifies doctrinally and practically.
However, many of our church members are of an ethnic persuasion and benefit from discipleship (individual and small group instruction and mentoring) in a language other than English. For these members, Grace Church of Sacramento has regular Bible studies and small groups. These groups have teaching, materials and worship in a non-English language.
Grace Church of Sacramento has Bible studies and small groups in Russian and encourages Bible studies in Spanish, Hindi, Hmong and other languages.
